WALT: Write a poem using personification.

SUCCESS CRITERIA:

Poem : I can write a poem like a long established poet.

1.I used an appropriate title that generates interest and hints at what my poem is about.

2.My word choice is appropriate for the subject and varied.

3. I used strong active verbs to move the poem along.

4.I used personification, similes and/or metaphors.

5. I used language to create atmosphere and mood.

6. The rhythm is natural and easy to read aloud.

7.My choice of language makes it easy for a listener to understand.

I go up but come back down. I get thrown into nets but come back out. I can roll and bounce but not that high.  I try to escape but can’t. I sometimes think that I am getting chased. Somethings I just want to hide away but manage to always get found. People attack me but I try to run.  I have a rebound to  try get through the net but sometimes don’t go through the net. WHAT AM I ????
